Popular Culture has been around for ever. Just like today people have opinions on what is cool and what isn't. Popular culture only exists, because people had a common idea on what was cool. popular 50 years ago was extremely different to what is it now, even 15 years ago. Before the invention of mobile phones, apps and other devises, popular culture was about what was in the latest magazine. The problem with that is that not everyone saw that magazine, today if you have any type of smart phone you have access to something someone posted in Italy. Popular culture has always been here, but in the past 15 years the invention of the smart phone has changed it all.
